The balconies-bench of El Capricho
In the corners of the main face the balconies stand out, with a hexagonal floor. The rails of iron develop in its central part the form of a bench put of backs, with the support and the seat of strips of wood, so that the person can sit down with a view to the building. A marquee covers it also of iron, raised by columns of the same metal.

Gaudí put this type of balcony-bench also in the house Vicens (though years ago it was replaced with a flower-stand), constructed simultaneously to El Capricho. This solution will appear again in the warehouses of El Garraf and, fully developed, in one of the works of Anton Gaudí's maturity: the bench of the park Güell.
