| Gaudí. The man and his work | Anton Gaudí i Cornet (1852-1926) is the most popular architect in history.
His revolution of architecture and plastic arts is in the beginning of contemporary and future art.
Gaudí’s work is a search of perfection of art,of perfection of human person and of perfection of society.
He said:
«For doing well the works, it’s necessary:
first, love; second, technical ability».

| Keukenhof | Spring has arrived and we went to say hello to the Netherlands, on the polders lengthy and filled with flat beds of daffodils and tulips in the middle of which stands the Keukenhof garden.
The trees that line the canals are still asleep; with a fever dream on the buds starting to turn green leathery leaves a very small dot. Ducks are not courted by the banks, although some swan takes off to show off their plumage.
But the first flowers are already here. The blue crocus flower beds compete with the blazing yellow daffodils and early tulips. The air full of perfume hyacinth is more enchanting and suggestive, places more, that marijuana and hashish from coffee-shops of A...  |
| Episcopal palace of Astorga (1889-1893) | In January 1887, Gaudí was called to Astorga by Bishop Joan Baptista Grau i Vallespinós, who had just seen to blaze the episcopal palace.
Gaudi was grateful to his countryman. He wrote on Feb. 8, 1887 to express their gratitude and warning him that he was very busy with the Sagrada Família and the Güell house, and that he could not travel to Astorga to finish the home of his wealthy admirer. He sent therefore a questionnaire to find a letter containing information essential to the development of the project.
